Sights north of Tromso

We are seeing nice sights all the way up north.  The latitude where we are is the same as Alaska and Siberia.  It is not as cold as we had expected, although a warm jacket is still required.  The warming Gulf Stream prevents these coastal regions from being too frozen over.

We are seeing autumnal colours on the hillsides once again instead of ice capped mountain tops.

This is not a castle but an interesting rock formation.  The cliff side resembles a staircase.

The small town of Honninsvag, the northernmost city of Norway.  We stopped here for a couple of hours. This is where the participants in Andrew's excursion to the North Cap rejoined the ship from the previous island we had been to and from where they had set off.

Could not resist this statue of a (presumably) fisherman's dog near the wharf.
