Montana - splendid wilderness

In Montana splendid isolation is yours for the taking.  It is an outdoor enthusiast's paradise.  Even more rugged than Wyoming, Montana is full of pine forests and rivers.  Camping and fishing campgrounds run by the state’s Agriculture and Fisheries Service abound.

Highway 89 is the lightly travelled route between Yellowstone and Glacier NP crossing Montana through an epic western landscape that sprawls along the base of the Rockies tracing the sinuous course of the Yellowstone River.

Some of our most isolated and rugged campsites in the forest have been here in Montana.

And the opposite of isolation.  Parking at Walmart is something you can do all over the US and Canada.  This bikie has just set up at Great Falls in the Walmart together with 21 RVs including us.  Thank you Walmart
