Chico Hot Springs - a slice of heaven in Montana

Just 35kms north of Yellowstone, on the way to Livingstone in Montana, is a resort we had been recommended way back in Illionois.  The Chico Hot Springs is a whole-year-round resort with hot pools from the mineral springs.  The Sunday breakfast buffet attracts locals from all around.  It happened to suit our timetable to pop in for the hot soak and the buffet.

A small glimpse of the pool from above.

And here they are.  The smaller one is hotter than the larger pool.

The gardens are well set out.  People have been coming here for many years, it is a popular spot.

The omelette maker, like they have in Asian resorts we have all stayed at.  But when you are travelling in an RV this is a rare treat indeed.

The satisfied customer.  And this was the last dish of a wonderful buffet breakfast.
