Instead of yet another visit to a temple 50 kms away, we asked our guide to arrange for us to attend a cooking class. This is the thing to do at Hoi An and we enjoyed our morning and then eating what we produced (with a little help from the instructor).
The place where we did this is a farm in the outskirts of Hoi An and many of the farms around there seem to do this as a side business.
The sign advertising the cooking school.
Here are the three busy chefs.
Busy chopping onions and garlic.
After lunch we had some time to spare before catching our flight to Hanoi so we had a foot bath and a foot massage - both were heavenly. The teacher's wife also gave us a neck and head massage - that too was pretty good. Not a bad deal for a cooking class!
